:: KENNEL ::

Welcome to the first kennel in Europe breeding Cimarron Uruguayo. This is the home of the first imported and top winning Cimarron Uruguayos in Europe and also home of the first offsprings in Europe of the breed. My kennel is located in the south of Sweden.

The Cimarron Uruguayos are born under kennel name
Perro Característico as prefix. Under LITTERS you can see what my breeded Cimarron Uruguayos has presented in example show, herding, tracking, health and so on. Under OFFSPRINGS/EXPORTS you can see my exports and also children/grandchildren at other kennels.

We have had great
success with group placements and also BIS placements such as BIS, BIS 2 and BIS 3 puppy at the European Winner Show in Slovenia 2010. My dog are also shown in brace class with results Best In Show! Also my cimarrons are the first champions in Europe in the countries Sweden, Slovenia, Denmark they have World Winner titles under the years 2007, 2009 , 2010 and 2011 & European Winner titles 2010 (this was the first time the breed was represented on the EDS ever. My female Perro Caracteristico Double Dare that was saved from my first litter, has made history for the breed in Europe as the first cimarron to place in BIS puppy with results BIS 3 puppy (European Winner show 2010), BIS 2 puppy, BIS 3 puppy and BIS 4 puppy. More to read about is under TOP MEMORIES, here you will find our highest results from shows in Europe.

In my thinking I have some importent goals with the Cimarron Uruguayos in this kennel. For me it is importent to use the best lines which has proven their quality in producing. Each dog at my kennel before it is put out as stud male or a female that I like to use for a litter have results on; dysplasia (not needed to be official) and have a excellent character (mentalytest) and also have skills in for example herding, agility, shows and tracking before we breed. I like to have much so much information I can on the breeding animals in tests and the lines behind, knowing what Im breeding on. I breed on the function to keep the working ability in the Cimarron Uruguayos, special area is herding sheeps or cows, this shall not be lost in breeding There for I have made a choice to test all my Cimarron Uruguayos and theire offsprings in this area. I belive to feed my dogs with the best food, there for we are feeding EUKANUBA & we highly recommend EUKANUBA PREFORMANCE & EVERYDAY DOG FOOD!

At this moment 2 litters has been born 2010.02.11 and 2010.12.10. All of them are trained in diffrent areas such as obediance, herding and agility. Some of the puppies was exported to the countries Finland, Belgium, Germany, France and Liechtenstein. Also some of them have been to shows with great results in both puppy & junior class. Also my cimarrons has been judge by specialits from Uruguay Faca & Pancho for Adrian Landarte & Double Dare for Jorge Nallem with excellent results, that we are very proud over.

My story how I found the Cimarron Uruguayos started when I saw an article about the breed an was amazed over the dogs at that time I breeded Dogo Argentino (under my old kennelname White Ghost´s Dogo´s). Then my eyes where totaly focused of this amazing breed Cimarron Uruguayo. Started to search for a cimarron and in year 2007 and found a great breeder in Uruguay with a lot of passion for the breed
Cladio Cluck Kennel de la Fogueria. ended up with my first cimarron Pancho, that arriwed in 2008. This ground male in our kennel I can only say many big thanks to Claudio for selling Pancho, and also many BIG thanks to the people that made this possible for me, without your great help this has not been possible Gustavo Rodríguez kennel Las Pitangas and Dr. Victor de Oliviera. My 2nd Cimarron came here in 2009, a lovley female named Faca from Gustavo Rodríguez, kennel Las Pitangas.
On the world winner show in Stockholm Pancho and I had a lovley meeting with 2 specialists of the breed and also breeders of Cimarron Uruguayo, Jorge Nallem & Adrian Landarte, thank you so much for the words about Pancho you gave.

From my first litter a female was saved to stay at the kennel. Perro Caracteristico Double Dare is started in training to meet sheep and some basic obediance, also she has been out on some shows under 2010 with excellent results. Dare is the first breeded Cimarron Uruguayo in history in Europe to place in Best In Show Puppy, on the following shows SBHK NAT in NORJE BOKE BIS 3 Puppy, ESKILSTINA INT BIS 4 Puppy, BIS 2 Puppy Åstorp SBHK & on the European Winner Show in Slovenia she became BIS 3 Puppy! In junior class 2011 only 10 months old she was placed BIG Reserv on one of Nordics biggest dog shows My Dog Int.
